NowDev Assistant is built with a Privacy First philosophy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or ServiceNow instance data to external servers.

• No External Tracking: We do not use analytics or tracking scripts (e.g., Google Analytics).
• No User Data: We do not collect your name, email, or any identifiable information.
• No Credentials: We do not store or transmit your ServiceNow passwords or session tokens.

2. How We Use Data

All data processing happens locally within your browser environment:

• Local Scraped Data: Record information fetched via the Form Center or List Helper is processed entirely in-memory and lost when the page is closed or refreshed.
• Local Storage: We use your browser's local storage only to remember your non-sensitive preferences, such as Environment Switcher URLs, sidebar position, and state.

3. Security

The extension uses modern browser security standards:

• Shadow DOM: Isolates the extension's UI from the host page to prevent script or style interference.
• Isolated Worlds: Ensures that the extension logic runs in a secure environment separate from the main page script context.

4. Third-Party Services

NowDev Assistant does not interact with any third-party services. All communication is strictly between your browser and the ServiceNow instance you are currently logged into.
